What does “fully lined interior” mean?
That's right, the sleeves, the front, the back, the hood itself, are all fully lined with an additional plush fabric layer, printed with either the triangle or circle design. There are very few hoodies on the market that are fully lined l like this, and there’s a reason: A full lining is more costly. The tradeoff, of course, is that full linings make the hoodie MUCH more comfortable and warm. And just as importantly… stylish! The full lining peeks out at all angles, especially when worn un-zipped, which really sets these hoodies apart.
How thick are Innerwoo Hoodies?
Because of the interior lining, Innerwoo hoodies wear like a heavyweight fall sweater, meaning they are not lightweight. :-) The lining retains body warmth, insulating in a way that un-lined hoodies will not. To give a sense, a Medium Innerwoo hoodie weighs about half a pound heavier than an un-lined hoodie, ie. 2 lbs. vs. 1.5 lbs.
What are the Hoodies made from?
Our hoodies feature 100% French Terry cotton exteriors, with custom print interior linings made of 100% polyester. All ribbing is made of 93% cotton, 7% Polyester.
Are Innerwoo Hoodies soft?
Yes! The polyester interior lining feels luxurious and smooth against your skin, quite a contrast to un-lined hoodies.
Where are Innerwoo Hoodies made?
Innerwoo styles are designed in Brooklyn, NY and sewn/tailored in the Bronx, NY. Yes, born and bred in the USA!
What size Hoodie should I get?
Innerwoo Hoodie sizes are unisex and run small, i.e. not really “true to size”. Ordering one size larger than your regular T-Shirt size is suggested. Check out our sizing chart HERE. You can always do a free exchange if it doesn't fit exactly right.
Where’s my order?
When your hoodie ships, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking number. Shoot us an email at info@innerwoo.com if you need us to re-send, or aid with tracking.
How long will it take to receive my Hoodie?
Hoodies ship out within 3-5 business days, USPS Priority Mail. So, you will receive your order within about 1 week of purchase.
Does Innerwoo accept returns or exchanges?
Absolutely. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your hoodie, no questions asked. So, we have a 30-day 100% refund return or exchange policy, as long as your hoodie is unworn / unused. All you have to do is cover return shipping. Send us an email at info@innerwoo.com to initiate the process.
Is there a sales tax?
This is governed by the shipping address of your order. Basically, if you live in New York State, where Innerwoo is based, Uncle Sam requires you pay sales tax. :-/
Do you ship internationally?
Not quite yet. But we’re working on it!
Do you make children / dog / cat / XXS / XXL hoodies?
Not yet. But one day, hopefully very soon.
When will you be coming out with more interior pattern designs?
Soon, we promise. Give us a few months...
How should I care for my hoodie?
We suggest machine washing on cold (60°F – 80°F / 15°C – 26.7°C), then tumble drying on low. Or, you can line dry, which will help minimize any shrinkage. Definitely do not bleach!
Will Innerwoo Hoodies shrink?
Not if you follow the care instructions found in the sizing chart and in this FAQ. However, even if you don’t follow our care instructions, only a small amount of shrinking will occur. This is why we suggest ordering one size larger than your normal T-Shirt size, just in case.
Who created Innerwoo Hoodies?
Waaaaaaay back in 2007, Samantha Price handmade versions of both the red triangle and blue circle hoodies, as gifts. In the subsequent years, whenever worn, people would ask “Where can we get one of those??" Flash forward a decade. Realizing the world deserved an answer to this question, college pal and product designer John Zox worked with Sam to hone the designs and officially launch Innerwoo as a brand.
This is the first I’ve heard of Innerwoo. Are you for real?
Yes, 100%, in the flesh, legit and fresh. Check out our “About” page HERE. We’ve been around since 2007, and officially launched in 2022, with a goal to create apparel that’s a little bit different from the norm. Come say hello to us in Brooklyn, if/when you’re nearby!
